The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology notified Aadhaar Authentication for Good Governance (Social Welfare, Innovation, Knowledge) Rules, 2020 on August 5.
The Central Government can now allow requesting entities to carry out Aadhaar authentication for “usage of digital platforms to ensure good governance.”
