The Customs, Excise, Service Taxes Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT) on Monday issued the office order which notified that there will be no sitting of Benches of the Tribunal including Regional Benches from 1 July 2020 to 15 July 2020.
“There will be no sitting of Benches of the Tribunal including Regional Benches from 1 July 2020 to 15 July 2020 due to the grim situation caused by COVID 19 pandemic. However, urgent applications will be taken up for hearing as per Public Notice No.1 of 2020 dated 30.6.2020.” states the order.
“The last date of pronouncement of order reserved cases and release of detailed orders is extended up to 31 July 2020 and the same may be done after obtaining prior permission from the Hon’ble President,” the official order said.
