Delhi High Court Extends Interim Orders Till October 31, 2020

The Delhi High Court in continuation of its earlier orders, has extended all interim orders passed by it and its Subordinate Courts, which are subsisting as of today, till October 31, 2020

The directions were passed by a three-judge bench of the High Court presided by Chief Justice D. N. Patel and Justices Siddharth Mridul and Talwant Singh in view the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The extension has been granted in both criminal and civil cases in view of the pertaining COVID-19 situation.

The High Court had extended the interim orders in all matters pending before it and subordinate courts, in view of the coronavirus pandemic, earlier as well. As per the latest order, the functioning of the High Court and its subordinate courts shall remain suspended till August 31.

Chief Justice of the High Court, Justice DN Patel has also reiterated that physical hearing will soon start with the consent of all.
