The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, issued a notification amending the earlier one (S.O. 3048(E), dated July 31, 2024), regarding the jurisdiction of Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunals (GSTAT) in India.
The Ministry has notified the establishment of 29 benches of the Goods and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT).
The notification also introduces provisions to define the districts under the jurisdiction of various State Benches of the GST Appellate Tribunal, effective from the date of publication. These amendments aim to streamline the GST appellate process and ensure proper case allocation across designated locations.
